Learning Clinician / Tutor – Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes
Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes is a leader in educational intervention for individuals with learning challenges including dyslexia, reading difficulties, and language comprehension issues. We train all staff in our evidence-based, sensory-cognitive programs that have a proven track record of significantly improving student reading, spelling, and comprehension in both in-clinic and home settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver intensive 1-on-1 instructional sessions using Lindamood-Bell's proprietary programs (LiPS, Seeing Stars, Visualizing and Verbalizing)
- Follow structured lesson protocols with fidelity while building strong rapport with each student
- Conduct symbol and oral reading assessments to measure progress at regular checkpoints
- Collaborate with supervising clinicians on student instructional programs and session planning
- Communicate daily session observations and student needs to clinical supervisors
- Support in-home session delivery when needed, maintaining professional standards in client homes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
- Strong interest in working with students with dyslexia or reading/learning difficulties
- Excellent one-on-one interpersonal skills; patient, warm, and structured approach
- Willingness to commit to full-time availability (including summer intensive programs)
- Previous experience with special education, reading intervention, or tutoring is a plus
