Juni Learning is an online learning platform teaching kids ages 5-18 coding, mathematics, and creative arts through personalized 1-on-1 instruction with expert instructors. We are seeking talented Computer Science and Coding Tutors to teach Python, Java, Scratch, web development, game development, and advanced math to young aspiring technologists.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, project-based 1-on-1 coding lessons to students ages 8-18 via video and screen sharing
- Teach programming concepts in Python, Scratch, Java, or web technologies based on student track
- Guide students through Juni's structured curriculum projects and help adapt to student interests
- Celebrate student wins and maintain high motivation through encouragement and project milestones
- Provide detailed session notes and progress updates to parents after each class
- Collaborate with Juni's curriculum team to stay current on new course material
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS)
- Genuine passion for teaching and working with children and teenagers
- Friendly, enthusiastic communication style that keeps young learners engaged
- Reliable computer, fast internet, webcam, and microphone
