Responsibilities
- Provide on-demand and scheduled tutoring sessions in subjects such as Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science, Biology, and Engineering
- Break down complex concepts into clear, understandable explanations for college-level students
- Help students work through problem sets, understand textbook material, and prepare for exams
- Use Chegg's virtual classroom with shared whiteboard, LaTeX math editor, and code editor
- Respond to Instant Tutoring requests quickly to maximize student satisfaction
- Maintain a high tutor rating through clear, effective, and encouraging instruction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or current enrollment in graduate program) in STEM, Business, Humanities, or related field
- Strong GPA in the subjects you wish to tutor
- Ability to explain advanced concepts clearly and patiently
- Reliable internet connection and a computer with webcam
- Previous tutoring, TA, or teaching experience is highly valued
