Entry-Level Biomedical Engineer – Dexcom
Dexcom empowers people to take control of diabetes through continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology. Our San Diego headquarters is seeking an Entry-Level Biomedical Engineer to help develop the next generation of CGM sensors and systems that improve millions of lives every day.
Responsibilities
- Support development and testing of glucose sensor electrochemistry and biosensor platforms
- Execute benchtop characterization experiments (in-vitro glucose response, interference testing)
- Assist in biocompatibility and in-vivo animal study coordination
- Document experimental results and contribute to technical reports and regulatory submissions
- Work with cross-functional teams including chemistry, electrical, software, and clinical teams
- Support CAPA activities and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- BS in Biomedical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or Chemistry (recent graduate welcome)
- Laboratory experience with electrochemistry or biosensors preferred
- Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485 is a plus
- Strong Python or MATLAB skills for data analysis
