Biomedical Engineering Associate – Hologic
Hologic is a leading medical technology company focused on improving women's health through innovative diagnostics, surgical products, and imaging systems. We are looking for a Biomedical Engineering Associate to support our R&D teams in Marlborough, MA.
Responsibilities
- Support development and validation of diagnostic imaging and surgical instruments
- Execute test protocols for product verification and validation activities
- Assist with biocompatibility assessments and ISO 10993 documentation
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and engineering records
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams
- Participate in failure analysis and root-cause investigation activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 0-2 years professional experience (co-op or internship in medical devices is a plus)
- Understanding of design controls and FDA 21 CFR Part 820
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
