Junior Biomedical Engineer – Edwards Lifesciences

Responsibilities
- Support engineering development and testing of transcatheter heart valves and monitoring devices
- Perform in-vitro hydrodynamic testing and durability testing per ISO 5840 standards
- Assist in writing and executing test protocols, IQ/OQ/PQ validation documentation
- Contribute to CAPA investigations and corrective action implementation
- Work in a cleanroom environment maintaining GMP compliance
- Analyze test data using statistical methods and present findings to senior engineers
Requirements
- BS in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Bioengineering (0-2 years experience)
- Hands-on laboratory skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical device regulations (FDA, CE Mark) preferred
- Experience with SolidWorks or CAD software a plus
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
