Role Context

Amazon's fulfillment centers are high-energy facilities where orders are picked, packed, and shipped daily. As a Warehouse Associate, you are a core part of that operation. You will work on the warehouse floor alongside a team, using handheld scanners and conveyor systems to move inventory accurately and efficiently. Facilities are climate-controlled and include break rooms, vending areas, and onsite medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming inventory and scan items into Amazon's warehouse management system
• Pick customer orders accurately from shelf locations using a handheld scanner
• Pack orders following Amazon's packaging standards for product safety
• Load packed shipments onto conveyor belts and outbound trucks
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your assigned work zone
• Follow all safety protocols including PPE requirements and lift guidelines

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours per shift
• Able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 49 lbs
• Reliable attendance — consistent schedule required
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay: $15.00 per hour — many locations start higher based on geography
