About This Role
Perfint Healthcare — pioneers of image-guided robotic needle placement — is seeking fresh engineering graduates as Robotics & Embedded Engineers to develop and maintain Perfint's MAXIO robotic oncology systems used in CT-guided tumor ablation procedures at leading cancer hospitals worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and debug embedded firmware for Perfint's robotic system controllers — motion control, sensor integration, and safety interlock systems
- Implement real-time control algorithms for robotic arm kinematics and needle placement accuracy optimization
- Develop software interfaces between Perfint's robotic system and CT scanner DICOM imaging data
- Perform design verification testing — mechanical accuracy testing, software validation, and electrical safety testing per IEC 60601
- Support field service engineers with technical escalations and software updates for MAXIO systems at hospital installations globally
- Create and maintain technical documentation — firmware specifications, test protocols, and software change control records
Requirements & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Robotics Engineering — 2024/2025 batch
- Embedded C/C++ programming skills for microcontroller-based systems (STM32, ARM Cortex)
- Understanding of robotics kinematics, motion control, or mechatronics is a significant plus
- Interest in medical robotics, image-guided therapy, or surgical technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety-critical software engineering
