About This Role
Innaccel Technologies — India's leading medical device innovation accelerator — is hiring passionate fresh engineering graduates as Medical Device Innovation Engineers to design and prototype next-generation medical devices addressing unmet healthcare needs in India and global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the full design control process for new medical device development — user needs, design inputs, concept ideation, prototyping, and design verification
- Build functional prototypes using 3D printing (FDM, SLA), electronics prototyping (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32), and mechanical fabrication
- Conduct user research, clinical observations, and usability studies at hospital partner sites to validate design concepts
- Support design for manufacturability (DFM) analysis and transition from prototype to pilot-scale production
- Create and maintain design documentation — concept notes, design specifications, FMEA, and design history files per ISO 13485
- Participate in intellectual property (patent) evaluation and documentation for novel device concepts
Requirements & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical, ECE, or related engineering — 2024/2025 batch
- Demonstrated hands-on prototyping and making skills — personal projects, hackathon builds, or design lab experience
- Interest in medical device innovation, healthcare product design, and clinical problem-solving
- Basic understanding of electronics, embedded systems, or mechanical design
- Collaborative, creative mindset with genuine curiosity for healthcare challenges
