Biomedical Instrumentation Engineer – Fresher

About This Role

BPL Medical Technologies — India's pioneering medical device manufacturer — is inviting fresh biomedical engineering graduates to join as Biomedical Instrumentation Engineers, maintaining BPL's extensive portfolio of ECG machines, patient monitors, defibrillators, and ICU equipment across India's hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and service BPL Medical's portfolio — ECG machines, SpO2 monitors, defibrillators, fetal monitors, and hospital management systems
• Attend breakdown calls at hospital customers and perform fault diagnosis and corrective maintenance
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules as per BPL's PPM protocols at hospital accounts
• Train hospital biomedical departments and ward staff on BPL equipment operation and care
• Manage AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) compliance — service visit scheduling, documentation, and customer satisfaction
• Prepare quotations for spare parts and liaise with BPL's warehouse for parts procurement and delivery

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, ECE, or EEE — 2024/2025 batch or up to 1 year experience
• Basic electronic troubleshooting skills and understanding of medical signal monitoring equipment
• Knowledge of ECG waveforms, SpO2 principles, or patient monitoring concepts is an advantage
• Willingness to travel for field service assignments in assigned regions
• Good communication and service orientation for hospital customer interactions
