About This Role
Thermo Fisher Scientific India is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Validation Engineers to support IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities for laboratory and clinical diagnostic equipment deployed at pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and hospital laboratory customers across India.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) protocols for Thermo Fisher laboratory equipment — centrifuges, incubators, PCR systems, HPLC, and mass spectrometers
- Develop and review validation protocols and reports per GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and GxP regulatory requirements
- Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on laboratory analytical instruments at pharmaceutical and hospital lab customer sites
- Support temperature mapping studies for cold chain equipment — stability chambers, refrigerators, and biosafety cabinets
- Maintain validation documentation, calibration certificates, and audit trail records per customer QMS requirements
- Participate in customer regulatory inspections (USFDA, EU GMP) as a Thermo Fisher validation service representative
Requirements & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical Engineering — 2024/2025 batch
- Basic understanding of GMP/GLP principles and laboratory quality systems
- Knowledge of analytical instruments and laboratory equipment operation
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills
- Willingness to travel to pharmaceutical and hospital laboratory customer sites
