Job Overview

As a Biomedical Engineer Trainee at Siemens Healthineers India, you will undergo a structured 12-month training program covering CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, and laboratory diagnostics equipment — learning installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and service delivery for Siemens Healthineers' flagship products deployed in India's leading hospitals and diagnostic centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in installation, commissioning, and calibration of Siemens Healthineers medical imaging and diagnostic equipment at hospital sites
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance on CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray equipment, and ultrasound machines
• Troubleshoot hardware and software faults on medical equipment using Siemens Healthineers service tools and documentation
• Maintain service records, calibration logs, and equipment history documentation per ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements
• Support clinical teams during equipment installation and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Coordinate with application specialists for clinical go-live support after equipment installation

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or related field — 2024/2025 batch
• Basic understanding of medical imaging physics, analog/digital electronics, and electromechanical systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently at hospital customer sites
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory — field service role requiring regular site visits
• Good communication skills in English and local language for hospital customer interactions
• 60%+ aggregate in qualifying degree
