Marvell Technology
Marvell Technology is hiring a Network Hardware Engineer to develop Ethernet switch ASICs, optical DSPs, and PCIe controllers used in cloud data centers and 5G infrastructure. You will work on silicon that moves data at terabits per second — the backbone of modern cloud and telecom networks.
Marvell's networking silicon teams design high-speed SerDes PHYs, packet processing engines, and optical DSP chips for 800G and 1.6T Ethernet products. Hardware engineers join a specific IP domain (SerDes, data path, clock, or memory interface) and work with cross-functional teams spanning circuit design, RTL design, physical design, and silicon validation. Marvell's Beaverton campus focuses on optical and SerDes analog design, while Santa Clara leads digital hardware and systems.
Engineers interested in the silicon that moves data across the internet at terabit speeds. Marvell is one of the few companies where hardware engineers can work on both analog SerDes circuits and the digital packet processing engines on the same chip — providing rare full-stack silicon exposure.
Marvell Technology is a leading provider of data infrastructure semiconductor solutions, with products in cloud data centers, 5G base stations, carrier networks, and automotive Ethernet. Its Ethernet PHY and switch products power a significant fraction of hyperscale data center interconnects globally.
Apply at Marvell Careers via Workday. Search "Hardware Engineer" or "Design Engineer." The process includes a technical screen on digital design or analog circuit fundamentals (depending on the role), followed by a team interview loop covering design problem solving and experience review.
