Role Context

ServiceNow's associate engineers join platform or product teams within its Now Platform engineering division. You will develop core platform capabilities in Java and JavaScript and work alongside senior engineers on features used by the world's largest enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop platform features and APIs in Java (backend) and JavaScript/React (frontend)
• Build workflow automation components using ServiceNow Flow Designer and scripting APIs
• Write unit tests and contribute to automated test suites for platform quality
• Investigate and fix defects reported by enterprise customers in production environments
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to architecture decisions for new modules
• Document APIs and developer guides for the Now Platform ecosystem

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Software Engineering (2024–2026 grad)
• Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and SDLC processes
• Familiarity with Agile development and sprint workflows
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is a plus
