Role Context

Oracle's new grad developers are embedded into product squads working on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Fusion Applications, or developer tooling for the Java ecosystem. You will be mentored by senior engineers and work on production-grade components within your first quarter.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend features and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle Cloud services
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and contribute to code review processes
• Design and optimize database schemas and SQL queries against Oracle Database or PostgreSQL
• Participate in Agile sprints and contribute to technical design discussions
• Debug and resolve production issues using Oracle's internal monitoring and logging tools
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices deployed on OCI Kubernetes Engine

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Software Engineering (2024–2026 grad)
• Proficiency in Java — object-oriented design, collections, concurrency, and exceptions
• Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts
• Understanding of REST API design and web services basics
• Experience with Maven, Git, and basic CI/CD workflows
