Role Context

Accenture's new joiners in Security are placed in Security Operations Center (SOC) teams or cyber consulting squads. You will work alongside senior analysts and receive training before going on-client. Accenture funds certifications including CompTIA Security+, AWS Security Specialty, and CISSP preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor SIEM alerts and triage security events for client environments
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with penetration testing reports
  • Respond to security incidents and document findings for client review
  • Assist with cloud security posture management across AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Produce threat intelligence summaries and risk assessment reports
  • Support client workshops on security awareness and compliance frameworks

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related STEM field (2024–2026 grad)
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, DNS)
  • Exposure to SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) or security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
  • Understanding of IAM, encryption basics, and security compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is a plus
