Role Context

Intel data scientists work across semiconductor manufacturing, AI hardware product lines, and internal enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sensor, yield, and process data from semiconductor fabrication using Python and SQL
• Build ML models for yield prediction, defect classification, or supply chain forecasting
• Develop automated dashboards and alerting systems for manufacturing KPIs
• Apply statistical process control and multivariate analysis to wafer fabrication data
• Collaborate with process engineers and fab operations teams to deploy model insights
• Document data models and statistical methodologies per Intel's quality standards

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
• Python proficiency — scikit-learn, pandas, and statistical modeling libraries
• SQL skills for querying manufacturing and operational databases
• Familiarity with time-series analysis, anomaly detection, or statistical process control
• Ability to work with domain experts who are engineers, not data scientists
• Experience with semiconductor or industrial IoT data is a significant plus
