Role Context

Deloitte data science analysts are staffed on client engagements ranging from 3-month sprints to multi-year transformation programs. You will rotate through industries — federal, healthcare, financial services, consumer — building breadth while developing technical depth in your preferred domain. Deloitte's AI & Data practice is one of the largest in consulting, with proprietary accelerators built on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities

• Build ML and NLP models to automate client workflows or extract insights from unstructured data
• Develop Python and SQL data pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Contribute to client-facing deliverables including data strategies, dashboards, and model documentation
• Perform statistical analysis to validate model performance against client KPIs
• Support workshops and demos with client stakeholders under senior manager guidance
• Leverage Deloitte AI accelerators and pre-built MLOps frameworks to speed delivery

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in a STEM field with a focus on data, statistics, or CS
• Python proficiency and familiarity with ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow)
• SQL skills and awareness of cloud data services
• Strong written and verbal communication for client documentation and presentations
• Willingness to travel to client sites up to 50% of the time
• US security clearance or ability to obtain one is a significant plus for government practice roles
