Role Context

Apple's data science teams are small, focused, and deeply integrated with product and engineering. New grad data scientists work directly alongside senior scientists and are expected to contribute to production analyses within their first quarter. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze device and app usage telemetry to identify product improvement opportunities
• Build and evaluate models for recommendations, anomaly detection, or user segmentation

• Work within Apple's privacy-preserving data frameworks and differential privacy standards

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics (2025–2026 grad)
• Strong Python skills — pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and data visualization
• Proficient SQL writer comfortable with complex multi-table queries
• Solid grounding in probability, statistics, and experimental design
• Interest in privacy-preserving data techniques is a plus
• iOS or macOS familiarity is beneficial but not required
