Role Context

MSP5 receives trailer loads of pre-labeled packages throughout the night from Amazon fulfillment centers in the region. The night crew unloads, scans, and sorts these packages into route-specific slots before 6 AM. The facility processes tens of thousands of packages on a typical night, scaling higher during Prime events and the holiday season.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trailers and place packages on induction conveyor belts
• Scan package barcodes to confirm routing data in the sortation system
• Direct packages to the correct sort chute by reading scanner output
• Manually handle oversized, fragile, or irregularly shaped items
• Consolidate sorted packages into delivery bags or cages by route
• Support trailer loading for early morning driver pick-up

Requirements & Skills

• 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Physical ability to lift packages up to 49 lbs and work at a sustained pace
• Willing to work overnight hours on a consistent schedule
• No prior sortation or logistics experience required
