About This Role

Meta is hiring a Technical Recruiter to identify, engage, and hire world-class software engineers, data scientists, and technical program managers. You will manage full-cycle recruiting for a specific engineering organization and develop the sourcing strategies and candidate relationships that give Meta a competitive edge in the most contested talent market in the world.

Role Context

Recruiters at Meta are expected to be talent advisors, not just process managers. You will build genuine relationships with candidates across months or years, understand the technical roles you recruit for well enough to have credible conversations, and use data to manage hiring funnels and identify where process improvements are needed. You will carry a req load of 15–25 open roles and partner directly with engineering directors and VPs on hiring strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical roles from sourcing through offer acceptance
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to build diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop compelling job positioning
  • Track and report on hiring funnel metrics and use data to improve conversion at each stage
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding
  • Represent Meta at university career events, tech conferences, and recruiting events

Requirements & Skills

  • 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a high-volume tech company
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and boolean search techniques
  • Ability to understand technical roles and have informed conversations with engineering candidates
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Data-driven mindset — comfortable with recruiting metrics and ATS reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and candidate relationship management skills
