Role Context

TPMs at Meta are not project administrators — they are technical contributors who drive programs that span multiple engineering orgs. You will own the end-to-end delivery of your program, which may involve migration of a large internal service, a multi-team product launch, or a compliance-driven infrastructure change. The role requires enough technical depth to read design docs critically and enough organizational skill to keep six engineering teams aligned simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of multi-team technical programs from scoping through launch
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and cross-team blockers proactively
• Create and maintain program plans, milestones, and executive status updates
• Facilitate technical design discussions and help teams reach decisions efficiently
• Define success criteria and track program health using quantitative metrics
• Lead retrospectives and drive process improvements post-launch

Requirements & Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a TPM, engineering manager, or senior engineer in a program role
• Technical background sufficient to understand system architecture and engineering trade-offs
• Proven ability to drive large, ambiguous programs across multiple engineering teams
• Strong written communication skills — you write crisp program docs and status updates
• Experience with risk management, dependency tracking, and executive communication
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to create structure where none exists
