Role Context

You will join UST's cloud engineering practice, working on AWS-based solutions for healthcare and retail clients. The team builds serverless applications using Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB, alongside containerized workloads on ECS. Freshers are supported through UST's cloud learning track and AWS certification sponsorship during their first six months.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop serverless functions using AWS Lambda (Python or Node.js)
• Build and configure API Gateway endpoints connected to Lambda backends
• Work with AWS services including S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and CloudWatch
• Write infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or CloudFormation
• Monitor cloud resources and respond to alerts and cost anomalies
• Document cloud architecture decisions and deployment runbooks

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or Engineering
• Basic AWS knowledge — familiarity with S3, EC2, Lambda, or IAM concepts
• Programming skills in Python or JavaScript/Node.js
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON data formats
• Exposure to Linux command line basics
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is a strong plus
