Role Context

You will join a web development team maintaining PHP Laravel applications and WordPress/WooCommerce customizations for e-commerce clients. The team is remote-first with weekly video syncs, a shared Jira board, and a senior developer assigned to review your pull requests. Freshers typically own their first independent feature within 60 days of joining.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP web applications using Laravel or plain PHP
• Build and customize WordPress themes and WooCommerce plugins
• Write MySQL queries for database-driven features
• Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, shipping providers)
• Fix reported bugs and assist with QA testing cycles
• Maintain clean, documented code following team style guides

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent training
• PHP fundamentals — syntax, arrays, functions, sessions, and file handling
• Basic Laravel or WordPress experience through academic or freelance projects
• MySQL querying skills
• HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for frontend integration
• Git version control knowledge
