Role Context

You will be placed on a Java development team working on Spring Boot microservices. The team maintains a 2-week sprint cadence, and developers are expected to own feature development from design to deployment. Infosys provides access to its internal learning platform (Lex) to help freshers upskill on the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
• Write JUnit tests and maintain test coverage standards
• Work with Oracle or MySQL databases for data persistence
• Participate in code reviews and daily standups
• Assist in production deployments and post-release monitoring
• Document code changes and update technical specifications

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Core Java knowledge — collections, OOP, exception handling, multithreading basics
• Basic exposure to Spring Boot or Spring MVC
• SQL proficiency — writing and optimizing queries
• Familiarity with Git and Maven or Gradle build tools
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace
