Role Context

Deloitte AI engineers work on the technical implementation side of AI consulting engagements. Analysts are assigned to delivery teams on 3–9 month client projects, working under senior engineers and managers. You will build real AI systems for clients, not just slide decks — though communication skills are equally important in this environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop ML and generative AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Build RAG pipelines, LLM orchestration workflows, and AI agent prototypes for clients
• Implement MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD for ML
• Conduct AI bias and fairness audits as part of responsible AI deliverables
• Translate client requirements into technical AI architecture specifications
• Present implementation progress and results at client steering committee meetings

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Data Science, or Engineering (2024–2025 grad)
• Python proficiency with ML and data engineering experience
• Familiarity with at least one cloud AI platform (Azure ML, SageMaker, or Vertex AI)
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, or vector databases is a strong plus
• Strong written communication for technical documentation and client deliverables
• Willingness to obtain federal security clearance for government practice work
