About This Role

Role Context

Adobe's AI teams work on generative image synthesis, content tagging, intelligent cropping, and document understanding. Junior MLEs are integrated into product teams alongside senior researchers and engineers. Adobe Research provides an academic-quality research environment while Sensei teams focus on shipping AI to production Creative Cloud users.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate generative AI and computer vision models for creative applications
• Build data preprocessing and augmentation pipelines for image and document datasets
• Implement and test new model architectures proposed by research collaborators
• Optimize model inference latency for cloud and edge deployment targets
• Contribute to Adobe's responsible AI guidelines for generative content
• Write thorough experiment logs and model cards for internal knowledge sharing

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, AI, or a related field with focus on vision or generative models
• PyTorch proficiency and understanding of diffusion models, GANs, or ViTs
• Solid Python skills with experience in data processing and model training workflows
• Portfolio of ML projects — Kaggle, GitHub, or course projects all count
• Familiarity with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI)
• Creativity and passion for how AI can augment creative workflows
