Role Context

Apple's Strategic Data Solutions team is small and cross-functional, giving analysts early ownership of meaningful analytical workstreams. You will work alongside engineers, product managers, and finance teams — building the data infrastructure and insights that drive decisions across Apple's services and hardware businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply statistical methods and data analytics to solve complex business problems across Apple product lines
• Detect fraud and abuse patterns and optimize performance through data-driven investigation
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical tools using SQL and Python
• Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Apple's internal BI tools
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams to define and track business metrics
• Support A/B testing analysis and experimental design for product and service decisions

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for data analysis and automation
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or equivalent)
• Strong statistical knowledge and quantitative problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
