Role Context

Amazon BA interns are embedded within a real business team and own a defined analytics workstream for the duration of the internship. You will have a dedicated mentor, access to Amazon's internal data platforms, and the opportunity to present your findings and recommendations to senior leadership at the end of the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of data analysis projects with mentor guidance, turning insights into business recommendations
• Maintain and improve performance metrics dashboards using SQL and visualization tools
• Design and develop automated data pipelines and analytical models for operations or retail teams
• Identify process improvement opportunities and quantify their business impact
• Collaborate with teams across Amazon's operations network to understand data needs
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders using clear visualizations and reports

Requirements & Skills

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, CS, MIS, Engineering, or Supply Chain
• Strong SQL skills and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets
• Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder presentations
• Ability to work 40 hours/week for the full internship duration
• Python or data visualization tool experience is a plus
