Online Community Manager Part Time Remote Jobs Canada

TalentBridge Canada

Part-time Remote Canada

Job Description

TalentBridge Canada manages digital communities for brands, membership organizations, and content creators across Canada and the United States. Our community managers nurture engaged, positive online spaces across platforms including Facebook Groups, Discord servers, Reddit communities, Slack workspaces, and Circle.so membership hubs. We are looking for a people-first, creatively driven part-time Online Community Manager who can grow and sustain thriving digital communities from a fully remote position anywhere in Canada.

This role is equal parts strategy and day-to-day engagement. You will develop and execute a monthly content calendar for the community, spark meaningful discussions, welcome new members, moderate conversations to maintain a safe and constructive environment, and report on community health metrics to the brand lead. You are the personality behind the community — your warmth, curiosity, and responsiveness set the tone for every member's experience.

Your Engagement Rhythm:

Each morning you check notifications, respond to unanswered posts, and welcome any new members who joined overnight. Throughout the day you post scheduled content, engage with replies, and identify threads worth amplifying. Weekly you compile a brief engagement report showing member growth, top-performing posts, and the pulse of the community sentiment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar with discussion prompts, polls, resources, and events
  • Post daily content and actively participate in conversations to keep the community alive and growing
  • Welcome new members personally and guide them toward relevant resources and discussions
  • Moderate member posts for guideline compliance and remove spam, misinformation, or harmful content
  • Identify and spotlight highly engaged members through recognition programs and feature posts
  • Coordinate virtual community events such as AMAs, live Q&As, and expert guest sessions
  • Track community KPIs including member growth, daily active members, post engagement, and churn
  • Compile and deliver a weekly community health report to the brand lead with insights and recommendations

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience managing an online community, Discord server, Facebook Group, or membership platform
  • Warm, authentic communication style that resonates with diverse online audiences
  • Ability to create engaging written content — from concise daily posts to structured monthly newsletters
  • Comfortable mediating conflicts and enforcing community guidelines firmly but fairly
  • Familiarity with community platform analytics and ability to interpret engagement data
  • Availability to check in on the community at least twice daily — once morning, once evening

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $20–$27/hr based on community size and platform complexity
  • 15–20 hours per week with flexible daily check-in scheduling
  • Fully remote — no geographic restrictions within Canada
  • Community platform subscriptions and tool access provided
  • Monthly 1:1 with the brand lead to align on strategy and priorities
  • High-visibility role with direct impact on brand perception and member retention

If you are the person who naturally brings people together, creates connections, and keeps conversations going, we want you building communities with us. Apply today and share a community you have managed or participated in actively.
