SEO Specialist Part Time Remote Jobs Canada

TalentBridge Canada

Part-time Remote Canada

Job Description

TalentBridge Canada is a performance-focused digital agency helping Canadian businesses rank higher in search results and drive qualified organic traffic. Our SEO team manages on-page optimization, technical audits, link building, and content strategies for a diverse client base spanning e-commerce, law, healthcare, and home services. We are hiring a part-time SEO Specialist to work remotely from anywhere in Canada and take ownership of organic growth strategies for a portfolio of assigned client websites.

This role suits someone who genuinely geeks out over search rankings, understands how Google evaluates content quality, and can translate complex SEO data into clear recommendations that non-technical clients can act on. You will have access to industry-leading tools and work alongside our content and web development teams to implement changes that actually move the needle.

What Your Week Looks Like:

Monday involves reviewing rank tracking reports and identifying which keywords shifted and why. Tuesday and Wednesday you work on on-page optimizations, keyword mapping, and content briefs. Thursday is reserved for technical audits or link prospecting. Friday you prepare the weekly performance update for your client accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-intent search opportunities for each client
  • Perform on-page optimization including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking
  • Run monthly technical SEO audits using Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush and prioritize fixes
  • Develop and maintain a backlink acquisition strategy through outreach and digital PR
  • Write or brief SEO-optimized content pieces to target identified keyword gaps
  • Monitor Google Search Console and Analytics for traffic trends, crawl errors, and indexing issues
  • Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with rank movement, traffic changes, and next-step recommendations
  • Stay current on Google algorithm updates and adjust strategies proactively

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of hands-on SEO experience with demonstrable ranking results
  • Proficiency in Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz alongside Google Search Console and Analytics
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO including Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and crawlability
  • Ability to conduct keyword research, interpret search intent, and map keywords to pages effectively
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with clear written communication for client-facing reports
  • Google Analytics 4 certification is an asset

What We Offer:

  • $23–$33/hr based on experience and the complexity of client accounts managed
  • Fully remote role — work from any Canadian location
  • Access to Ahrefs Teams, SEMrush Pro, and Screaming Frog licences
  • 20–25 hours per week with potential expansion as the agency grows
  • Direct mentorship from our senior SEO director and regular strategy reviews
  • Case study co-authorship opportunities for impressive client results

Show us a keyword win you are proud of when you apply. We value results over credentials and are excited to see what you have achieved for clients in the past.
