Job Description

WorkAnywhere Canada places professional Virtual Assistants with busy entrepreneurs, executives, and growing small businesses across Canada and the United States. Our clients rely on their VAs to handle the time-consuming administrative tasks that pile up and distract them from high-value work. We are hiring experienced part-time Virtual Assistants who can take on a client portfolio of one to three business owners and deliver reliable, proactive support from their home offices.

This is a relationship-based role. You will work closely with each client over an extended period, learning their preferences, anticipating their needs, and becoming a trusted extension of their team. Strong communication, initiative, and discretion are more important than any particular software skill — we can teach tools, but we cannot teach professionalism.

A Typical Morning:

You check your clients' inboxes, flag urgent messages and draft replies for review, update their task management boards, confirm upcoming appointments, and handle any research or admin tasks that came in overnight. You send a brief daily summary to each client by 9:30 AM so they know what is in motion.

Tasks You Will Handle:

  • Manage and organize client email inboxes, draft responses, and maintain folder structures
  • Schedule and confirm meetings, calls, and appointments across multiple time zones
  • Conduct online research on competitors, vendors, travel options, and business topics
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and documents in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
  • Update and maintain client CRM records, contact lists, and project management boards
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, and itineraries
  • Handle social media post scheduling and basic community management when required
  • Follow up with clients' contacts, vendors, and leads on their behalf

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of executive assistant, office administrator, or virtual assistant experience
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and at least one project management tool
  • Impeccable written English with strong grammar and professional tone
  • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously without dropping balls
  • High level of discretion — you will have access to sensitive business and personal information
  • Reliable internet, a dedicated quiet workspace, and a professional video call setup

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $19–$26/hr based on client type and scope of responsibilities
  • Work 15–25 hours per week spread across your client accounts
