Role Context

Associate Manufacturing Engineers work within a lean manufacturing cell and take ownership of process documentation, quality improvement, and production efficiency for their assigned product area. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, routings, and control plans
  • Support introduction of new switchgear or industrial automation product variants into production
  • Analyze production quality and efficiency data and implement process improvements
  • Coordinate with Siemens global engineering teams on product design changes and their manufacturing impact
  • Drive Lean and Kaizen activities to reduce waste and improve on-time delivery
  • Assist in capital equipment evaluation and commissioning for production line upgrades
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with UL, NEMA, and IEC standards

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • Knowledge of electrical or electromechanical assembly processes is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP system preferred
  • Exposure to UL or IEC electrical standards is beneficial but not required
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for global team collaboration
  • US work authorization required
