Parker Hannifin

Full-time Onsite United States

Job Description

About This Role

Parker Hannifin — the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies — is hiring Entry Level Manufacturing Engineers across its 100+ US divisions. You will develop processes for the hydraulic, pneumatic, aerospace, or industrial filtration systems that Parker supplies to every major industry from aerospace to renewable energy.

Job Overview

  • Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Entry Level)
  • Company: Parker Hannifin
  • Location: Cleveland, OH / Irvine, CA / Fort Worth, TX / Mayfield, OH / Haverhill, MA
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Experience Level: Entry-level (0–2 years)
  • Salary Range: $30–$40/hr
  • Posted Date: 2026-05-25
  • Application Deadline: 2026-06-25

Role Context

Parker's decentralized structure means each division operates with significant autonomy. Entry-level manufacturing engineers at Parker are assigned to a specific product division and develop deep expertise in that division's product technology. The smaller division size (typically 200–800 employees per site) means new engineers interact with plant managers and engineering directors far earlier than at larger monolithic manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and document manufacturing processes for hydraulic, pneumatic, or filtration product lines
  • Select and specify machining, assembly, and test equipment for new production lines
  • Perform process capability studies and maintain statistical process control charts
  • Support new product launches from prototype builds through production ramp-up
  • Drive cost reduction projects through process standardization and waste elimination
  • Coordinate with quality teams on inspection plans and measurement system analysis
  • Provide production floor engineering support and resolve daily technical issues

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • Coursework or experience in machining, fluid power systems, or industrial automation is a plus
  • Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, and control planning concepts
  • CAD proficiency; experience with SAP or Oracle ERP is beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously
  • US work authorization required

Benefits & Work Conditions

  • $30–$40/hr with Parker performance-based pay increases
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with HSA contribution
  • 401(k) with company match and employee stock purchase plan
  • Parker WIN Learning platform with thousands of technical training modules
  • Tuition reimbursement and support for professional engineering licensure

Who Should Apply

Excellent fit for engineering graduates who want to develop genuine technical depth in a specific product technology domain rather than rotating broadly. Parker's decentralized structure and engineering-first culture reward engineers who take initiative and develop subject matter expertise quickly. Strong candidates have a mix of manufacturing process knowledge and eagerness to learn fluid power or precision component manufacturing.

About the Company

Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global manufacturer with $19 billion in annual revenue and 50,000 employees worldwide. Its US manufacturing footprint covers over 200 plants making motion and control components for aerospace, industrial, and life sciences applications. Parker consistently ranks among the top US companies for engineering career development.
