GE Aerospace
GE Aerospace is recruiting new graduates for its Manufacturing Engineering Development Program (MEDP), a structured rotational program that builds a strong foundation in jet engine manufacturing and assembly processes. Recognized by Handshake as a top early-career employer in 2026, GE Aerospace offers one of the most respected new grad manufacturing programs in the US.
MEDP participants complete two or three rotations across GE Aerospace's engine manufacturing facilities, covering areas like turbine blade fabrication, engine assembly, and additive manufacturing. Each rotation lasts 6–12 months, with a dedicated mentor and structured learning objectives. The program is a direct pipeline to senior manufacturing engineer roles within GE Aerospace's growing engine programs, including LEAP, GE9X, and XA100.
Perfect for engineering graduates who are passionate about propulsion technology and want structured exposure to multiple manufacturing disciplines before specializing. The MEDP suits engineers who are mobile, proactive in their learning, and excited by the idea of working on engines that power commercial airliners and military jets.
GE Aerospace is one of the world's premier engine manufacturers, producing the LEAP, GE9X, GE90, and F110 engines for commercial and military aircraft. After separating from GE in 2024, GE Aerospace operates as an independent Fortune 100 company with over 50,000 employees and manufacturing presence across 15 US states.
Apply through GE Aerospace Careers at the MEDP program page linked above. The selection process includes an online application, a HireVue video interview, and a final round with program and site leaders. Applications for June 2026 start dates are reviewed on a rolling basis.
