Lockheed Martin
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer in Courtland, Alabama, to support its Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program — one of the most critical US missile defense initiatives. You will develop manufacturing processes for precision missile components in a fast-paced, security-conscious production environment.
This role sits within Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control manufacturing group. Engineers here define how interceptor components are fabricated, assembled, and tested. The 9x80 work schedule gives you every other Friday off. You will interface directly with production technicians and program management from your first week.
Strong fit for recent engineering graduates who are interested in defense manufacturing, want early ownership of real production processes, and are comfortable working within a structured, security-cleared environment. Curiosity about missile systems or aerospace propulsion is a meaningful advantage.
Lockheed Martin is the world's largest defense contractor, with over 120,000 employees and annual revenues exceeding $67 billion. Its Space division develops interceptor systems, satellites, and hypersonic weapons. The Courtland site is central to the NGI program, a $17B+ contract to defend the US homeland.
