Role Context

You will be embedded in the AH-64 Apache Final Assembly, Production Flight Test, and Depot Repair and Overhaul team. Boeing's production engineering group is responsible for defining how aircraft components are built, assembled, and inspected. New engineers work alongside experienced production specialists on a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, work instructions, and assembly sequences
• Support production floor troubleshooting and disposition of non-conformances
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure producibility of new components
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify process improvement opportunities
• Assist in tooling design and fixture development for assembly operations
• Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement events
• Coordinate with quality engineers on inspection criteria and acceptance testing

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Eligibility to obtain a US security clearance (US citizenship required)
• Internship or project experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
