Paint Department Associate – Retail Canada

Colour is your craft. BuildServe Canada needs a Paint Department Associate who can help customers choose the perfect paint while operating our colour-matching equipment with precision.

Paint Desk Duties

• Assist customers in selecting paint colours, sheens, and product types
• Operate computerized colour-mixing machines accurately
• Match custom colours from chips, photos, or existing paint samples
• Maintain paint department stock levels and merchandise organization
• Clean and calibrate tinting equipment per maintenance schedule

Requirements

• Good colour perception and attention to detail
• Comfortable learning to operate mixing and tinting machines
• Patient and consultative with customers making colour decisions
• Previous paint or hardware experience is an asset

Compensation

• CAD $17.50–$22/hour
• Full and part-time shifts available
• Staff discount on paint and supplies
• Benefits after 3 months (full-time)
