Freight Associate – Hardware Store Canada

ToolMart Canada is hiring a Freight Associate to manage the receiving dock and stock room at our Edmonton hardware store. Early morning start — great for those who love a head start on the day.

Freight Duties

• Unload inbound freight deliveries from supplier trucks each morning
• Verify delivery contents against purchase orders and flag discrepancies
• Sort stock by department and move to the sales floor for stocking
• Operate pallet jack and hand truck safely
• Keep backroom organized and hazard-free

Requirements

• Able to lift 60 lbs and work at a physical pace for 8 hours
• Early morning availability: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Previous freight, receiving, or stocking experience preferred
• Forklift licence is an asset

Pay

• CAD $18–$22/hour
• Early morning shift differential
• Employee merchandise discount
• Benefits after 3 months
