Oracle is hiring New Graduate Software Engineers to join its product engineering teams building Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), database systems, and enterprise SaaS applications. This is a full-time role for graduates with a start date of mid-June or mid-July 2026, working onsite at Oracle's core engineering hubs.

Job Overview

  • Company: Oracle
  • Location: Santa Clara, CA / Seattle, WA / Austin, TX / Nashville, TN / Denver, CO
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Experience Level: Entry-level (0–2 years)
  • Salary Range: $38–$52/hr
  • Posted Date: 2026-05-25
  • Application Deadline: 2026-06-25

Role Context

Oracle's new grad engineers are embedded directly into product teams — there is no formal rotation program. You will be assigned to a team based on your technical background and team need, and expected to contribute to real engineering deliverables from your first week. Oracle engineers work on systems at massive scale, from its autonomous database to OCI compute services handling petabytes of enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain features for Oracle Cloud or database products in Java, C, or C++
  • Write unit and integration tests and participate in code review processes
  • Debug and resolve customer-reported defects in collaboration with support engineers
  • Contribute to architecture design discussions with senior technical leads
  • Monitor production systems and respond to service health alerts
  • Document technical designs and API changes for internal and external audiences

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Software Engineering (graduating by July 2026)
  • Strong coding fundamentals in Java, C, C++, or Python
  • Knowledge of operating systems, networking, and distributed systems basics
  • Database or SQL experience is a significant plus
  • Analytical mindset and comfort working with complex, multi-layer systems
  • US work authorization required — Oracle does not sponsor visas for these roles

Benefits & Work Conditions

  • $38–$52/hr with Oracle equity grants and annual bonus eligibility
  • Onsite work environment in modern Oracle campus facilities
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits from hire date
  • 401(k) with Oracle matching contributions
  • Oracle University training credits and internal learning platform access

Who Should Apply

This role fits graduates who enjoy working close to the infrastructure layer — databases, cloud platforms, or distributed systems — and want depth over breadth early in their career. You are methodical, curious about performance and reliability, and eager to own components of systems used by the world's largest enterprises.

About the Company

Oracle is one of the largest enterprise software and cloud infrastructure companies in the world, with over $50 billion in annual revenue. Its product portfolio spans autonomous databases, cloud applications, and ERP systems used by 430,000 customers in 175 countries. Oracle's engineering teams operate at a scale few companies can match.

How to Apply

Apply on Oracle Careers and filter by "Campus" under the job type facet. Target start dates are mid-June or mid-July 2026. The process includes an online coding challenge and two to three technical interviews covering algorithms, systems, and problem-solving exercises.
