Role Context

AMTS engineers at Salesforce are placed within product or platform engineering teams focused on the core CRM, Slack, MuleSoft, or Tableau product surfaces. You will be expected to contribute production code within your first 30 days. New grads are paired with a senior engineer mentor and participate in quarterly calibration cycles that define a clear path to MTS (Member of Technical Staff) within 18–24 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and ship features within Salesforce cloud products
  • Write clean, well-tested code in Java, Python, JavaScript, or Apex
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers during sprint cycles
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents with support from senior engineers
  • Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (2024–2026 grad)
  • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
  • Coding experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, or C++
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud-based application concepts
  • Internship or project experience in a collaborative development environment preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
