Warehouse Associate – Auto Parts Distribution (New Grad) – Genuine Parts Company (NAPA)

We are hiring New Grad Warehouse Associates for GPC's NAPA automotive parts distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack automotive parts orders for NAPA retail stores and commercial customers — selecting engine parts, brakes, filters, belts, and 500,000+ other auto parts using RF scanner-directed picking
- Receive inbound automotive parts shipments from NAPA's global supplier network — verifying part numbers, quantities, and conditions against purchase orders
- Operate electric pallet jacks and reach trucks for product movement in GPC's automotive distribution center
- Process urgent same-day and next-day parts orders for NAPA's commercial customer program serving automotive repair shops and dealerships
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and bin location audits to maintain GPC's 99.9%+ parts availability commitment to NAPA stores
- Handle hazardous materials (batteries, motor oil, brake fluid) following GPC's OSHA and DOT hazmat handling procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts or vehicles is a plus; full product training provided
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced auto parts distribution environment
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain; GPC provides certification training
- DOT hazmat handling awareness; GPC provides training for battery and chemical handling
