Warehouse Associate – Drug Distribution (New Grad) – Cencora

Cencora's distribution centers are regulated by the DEA for controlled substance distribution and operate under FDA pharmaceutical distribution guidelines. We are hiring New Grad Warehouse Associates for Cencora's pharmaceutical distribution facilities.
Responsibilities
- Pick and process pharmaceutical orders for Cencora's retail pharmacy and healthcare provider customers using Cencora's automated and RF-directed picking systems
- Handle specialty biologic and oncology pharmaceutical orders requiring controlled temperature storage (2-8°C) and proper handling to maintain medication efficacy
- Process inbound pharmaceutical receipts — verifying product NDC codes, quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates from manufacturer shipments
- Maintain DEA compliance for Schedule II-V controlled substance handling — participating in Cencora's comprehensive drug diversion prevention and accountability program
- Operate Cencora's automated dispensing and conveyor systems for high-volume pharmaceutical order fulfillment
- Execute FDA pharmaceutical returns processing and drug recall procedures maintaining Cencora's regulatory compliance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician experience is a plus
- Must pass DEA and FDA required background screening for pharmaceutical distribution
- Extreme attention to detail for accurate medication handling in a regulated healthcare distribution environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Interest in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical supply chain careers
