Warehouse Associate – Pharmaceutical Distribution (New Grad) – McKesson Corporation

We are hiring New Grad Warehouse Associates for McKesson's pharmaceutical distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Process pharmaceutical orders for McKesson's pharmacy and hospital customers — picking prescription drugs, OTC products, and specialty pharmaceuticals using McKesson's automation-assisted picking systems
- Receive inbound pharmaceutical shipments — verifying NDC numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, and controlled substance quantities against purchase orders under DEA record-keeping requirements
- Handle specialty pharmaceutical and biologic product orders — maintaining cold chain protocols (2-8°C refrigerated storage) for temperature-sensitive medications
- Conduct DEA-compliant controlled substance inventory counts and participate in McKesson's drug loss/diversion prevention procedures
- Process returns and drug recalls — executing FDA and manufacturer recall procedures, quarantining affected product, and processing return-to-vendor documentation
- Maintain FDA pharmaceutical distribution compliance under USP 797/800 and McKesson's pharmaceutical SOPs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check for DEA-regulated pharmaceutical handling
- Attention to detail for accurate medication order processing and DEA documentation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a standing, fast-paced pharmaceutical warehouse
- Interest in healthcare logistics and pharmaceutical supply chain
