Warehouse Associate – Healthcare Distribution (New Grad) – Cardinal Health

We are hiring New Grad Warehouse Associates for Cardinal Health's healthcare distribution facilities.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack pharmaceutical orders for Cardinal Health's hospital and pharmacy customers — selecting prescription drugs, OTC products, and specialty pharmaceuticals using RF scanner-directed picking
- Handle controlled substance inventory under DEA Schedule II-V regulations — maintaining chain-of-custody documentation and participating in Cardinal Health's drug diversion prevention program
- Process temperature-sensitive biologic and specialty pharmaceutical orders — maintaining cold chain protocols for refrigerated (2-8°C) product handling
- Receive inbound pharmaceutical shipments from manufacturers — verifying NDC numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities against purchase orders
- Operate electric pallet jacks and pick carts in Cardinal Health's pharmaceutical distribution center
- Maintain FDA cGMP compliance — following Cardinal Health's SOPs for pharmaceutical handling, sanitation, and documentation
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; prior healthcare or pharmaceutical warehouse experience is a plus
- Ability to pass Cardinal Health's background check (required for pharmaceutical distribution)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks
- Attention to detail for accurate pharmaceutical order selection and documentation
