Warehouse Associate (New Grad) – McLane Company

McLane provides grocery and foodservice supply chain solutions — distributing food, beverages, and tobacco products from 80+ distribution centers to 110,000+ retail and foodservice locations including 7-Eleven, Walmart, Lowe's Drug Mart, and major fast-food chains. McLane's temple, TX headquarters operates one of its flagship distribution centers supporting its grocery and foodservice distribution network. We are hiring New Grad Warehouse Associates for McLane's distribution operations.
Responsibilities
- Select grocery and convenience store orders using voice-directed order selection in McLane's ambient, cooler, and freezer distribution environments
- Receive inbound food and beverage deliveries from McLane's vendor network — unloading trucks, counting cases, and processing receipts
- Operate electric pallet jacks for product movement and pallet staging in McLane's grocery distribution center
- Maintain product integrity and food safety compliance — following McLane's FSMA, HACCP, and temperature monitoring procedures
- Stage outbound deliveries for McLane's delivery drivers supporting 7-Eleven, grocery chains, and foodservice customers
- Complete cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks in McLane's WMS
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and work in McLane's multi-temperature distribution environment
- Voice-directed order selection experience preferred; McLane provides full training
- Availability for McLane's overnight picking operations (restaurant and convenience store delivery schedules require overnight warehouse shifts)
