Warehouse Associate – Distribution Center (New Grad) – The Kroger Co.

Kroger's distribution center associates are the backbone of the company's ability to serve millions of grocery shoppers daily with fresh, affordable food. We are hiring New Grad Warehouse Associates for Kroger's grocery distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound grocery freight from Kroger's vendor network — unloading dry grocery, refrigerated, and frozen food trailers and processing receipts into Kroger's WMS
- Select grocery orders for Kroger stores using voice-directed order selection in Kroger's ambient, refrigerated, and frozen pick environments
- Operate electric pallet jacks and reach trucks for product movement in Kroger's grocery distribution center's high-bay rack system
- Maintain food safety compliance — following FSMA produce safety rules, HACCP temperature controls, and Kroger's food handling protocols in all distribution center operations
- Load outbound store delivery trailers following Kroger's load quality, product rotation (FIFO), and store-door slotting requirements
- Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies in Kroger's grocery distribution center
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and work in Kroger's ambient, refrigerated (34°F), and frozen (-10°F) distribution environments
- Voice-directed picking or RF scanner experience preferred; Kroger provides full training
- Forklift certification; Kroger provides internal certification training
- Availability for Kroger's shift operations including nights and weekends in a 24/7 grocery distribution operation
