Warehouse Associate – Temperature Controlled (New Grad) – Americold

We are hiring New Grad Warehouse Associates for Americold's temperature-controlled warehouse network.
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound frozen and refrigerated food products from Americold's food manufacturer customers — temperature-checking inbound loads, counting cases, and processing receipts in WMS
- Pick and stage outbound orders for grocery distribution customers — selecting frozen/refrigerated cases from Americold's pick modules using voice-directed or RF-directed picking systems
- Operate electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and double-deep reach trucks in Americold's refrigerated and freezer warehouse aisles
- Perform blast-freeze and hardening room operations — staging fresh product entering blast freezer tunnels and tracking product temperature pull-down to finished frozen state
- Maintain food safety compliance — following Americold's HACCP plans, FSMA preventive controls, and AIB food safety protocols
- Conduct inventory cycle counts, verifying product lot codes, FIFO rotation, and storage location accuracy in Americold's WMS
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work in cold storage environments (refrigerated at 34°F and frozen at -10°F)
- Ability to lift 60 lbs repetitively and operate powered industrial equipment
- Forklift certification; Americold provides internal training for uncertified candidates
- Food safety awareness or interest in food distribution industry
