Warehouse Associate – Entry Level – Ryder System

Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division manages integrated warehousing, freight management, and dedicated transportation for major automotive, consumer goods, retail, and healthcare customers. Ryder operates dedicated distribution centers for Ford, General Motors, Apple, Nike, and dozens of other Fortune 500 companies — managing their inbound supplier logistics, production sequencing, and outbound distribution. We are hiring Entry-Level Warehouse Associates for Ryder's supply chain operations across the US.
Responsibilities
- Support Ryder's inbound logistics operations — receiving supplier deliveries, verifying quantities and quality, and processing inventory into Ryder's WMS
- Perform pick, pack, and ship fulfillment operations for Ryder's dedicated customer warehouses using RF scanner-directed workflows
- Operate electric pallet jacks, counterbalance forklifts, and reach trucks for inventory movement and trailer loading/unloading
- Support automotive just-in-time (JIT) logistics for Ryder's automotive manufacturing customers — sequencing parts deliveries to production line schedules
- Perform value-added warehouse services — kitting, sub-assembly, labeling, and packaging for Ryder's retail and industrial customers
- Complete Ryder's safety training modules and maintain compliance with OSHA standards in all warehouse operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding warehouse environment
- Basic math and reading skills for shipping documentation and WMS use
- Forklift certification preferred; Ryder provides internal certification training
- Willingness to work flexible shifts in Ryder's 24/7 logistics operations
