Dollar General – Logistics Manager Trainee

Responsibilities
- Learn and manage distribution center operations including inbound, storage, and outbound functions
- Supervise hourly associates across day, evening, or overnight shifts
- Monitor productivity metrics and ensure operational targets are consistently met
- Coordinate inbound freight from vendors and outbound delivery to Dollar General stores
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory activities
- Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance throughout the DC
- Participate in Dollar General's Distribution Management Trainee Development Program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- Recent graduate or 0–1 year of experience in distribution or retail logistics
- Strong leadership skills and willingness to work in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Proficiency in WMS systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and team motivation skills
